A fun introduction to the basics of theatre. Through theatre games and improvisation, children learn basic stage principles such as getting up in front of an audience, creating a character, and working as a team. The casual enviornment of impaginitive games and short script teaches kids about the world of stage acting in a low-stress way, keeping the empasis on having fun! On the last day, parents will be invited to come see what we have been working on.

About the Instructor
  • Christa Dunn studied acting at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts and the American Globe Theatre in New York City. She was an actor and director in small Off–Broadway theatres for several years, as well as working in community theaters on Cape Cod. Christa now lives in Weymouth and is the mom of two small children, ages four and six.
