Pond Meadow Park's 26th Annual Summer Nature Program
Each program session runs Monday through Friday (except Week 1) - 9am to 3pm
Drop-Off is at the Park Office, 470 Liberty Street, Braintree, MA
Fees
Week 1 is $120 per child.
All other weeks are $150 per child per one week session (one week limit due to demand).
Fee includes T-shirt, Group Photo, and Friday Lunch.
Ages 6-8 (Registration starts June 5, 2010 at 9:00 am for this age group)
Week 1: July 6-9 (four days)
Week 3: July 19-23
Week 5: August 2-6
Week 7: August 16-20
Ages 9-11 (Registration starts June 5, 2010 at 9:30 am for this age group)
Week 2: July 12-16
Week 4: July 26-30
Week 6: August 9-13
Week 8: August 23-27
Waiting List:
There will be a waiting list available beginning at 9:30 AM on June 5, 2010.
Join the waiting list by emailing pondmeadowpark@beld.net and include you and your child’s names, child’s age, preferred weeks and a contact phone number.
Includes...
- Nature hikes, arts and crafts, sports
- Pond Discovery Day including fishing, contests with prizes, games, and a cookout lunch
- Bushwhack through abandoned pig farms and bring home your favorite treasure from the ruins
- Go Mudding and adopt a turtle or frog for the week
- Tie-dye your own T-shirt, socks, or whatever!
- Discover nature in your own town plus much more!!

- Staffed by CORI-approved counselors
- Space is limited - one session limit per child
- Open only to Weymouth and Braintree residents (waiting list available to others after June sign-up)
- Program is held rain or shine - dress appropriately!
- No registrations over the phone
