Exceptional Program

This program is geared for Weymouth (only) children 6 to 22 years of age with special needs such as Down Syndrome and high functioning autism.

General Information

This program requires an orange Weymouth Recreation t-shirt. and a Weymouth Recreation issued photo ID.
Transportation is provided daily to and from the program in 15 passenger vans.
Participants must be toilet-trained.
A caring and sensitive staff will promote self-esteem and give the children a fun-filled summer.
Activities include 2 aquatics days, bowling, arts and crafts, jazzercise, martial arts and a field trip each week.
New campers should register early and if accepted are a probationary basis for their first 2 days.
New program participant application will be reviewed by the supervisor.
This review will include speaking with the applicants teachers – so please apply early!
